The Three Cancerous Forms of Government

In the United States, we have become what I would call an aristocracy-controlled democracy. Now, why would I say such a thing, and what is an aristocracy, democracy, or monarchy? A brief overview of these forms of government is necessary to understand these terms.

A democracy is a form of government quite near to anarchy. The power in a democracy is concentrated in the people – the masses. That’s a good thing, right? It’s what the founders intended right? The blunt answer is no. A democracy, in traditional terms, is so close to anarchy that mob rule is the standard. The ‘peaceful’ way to change things in a democracy is to organize a mob and protest with signs. The mob rules, majority or not, and right or not. The result is that anyone who won’t ‘mob’ for their rights is often forgotten. The nation’s ‘mob majority’ will drive the nation to bankruptcy, turmoil, and eventual suicide.

Democracy. . . while it lasts is more bloody that either aristocracy or monarchy. Remember, democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.” – John Adams

An aristocracy is a form of government closer to tyranny. In an aristocracy, the country is controlled or governed by a class of ‘elite’ rich men. These rich men pull the strings and make the decisions. In a governmental aristocracy, these ‘elite’ are publicly known as the government. However, aristocracies often exist outside of the official government, with all the same string-pulling and decision-making power. Thomas Jefferson called these ‘monied aristocracies’.

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the Government at defiance.” – Thomas Jefferson

A monarchy is a form of government that is very close to, or is, tyranny. In a monarchy, the country is controlled by a single person, often titled a ‘king’, ‘monarch’, ‘emperor’, or sometimes ‘president’. The ruler is the most prominent member of the government and has, essentially, absolute control over everything. This form of government is one of the most recognized as being ‘bad’. This is the form of government that England had in the 1770’s when America broke free. The founders were clear that this was a tyranny.

“I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.” – Thomas Jefferson

Our constitution established a form of government called a constitutional republic. The founders were clear that our government was not a democracy, aristocracy, or monarchy. However, our nation has been perverted by hidden aristocracy – the rich moneybags who work behind the scenes, tweaking things for their own purposes. Our nation has degenerated from a republic into a more democratic form, mob rule becoming more and more prevalent. What is worse, this ‘democracy’ is pushed and tweaked by the hidden aristocracy, leading our nation closer and closer to communist ideas and philosophies that steal our rights. The good news is that our form of government has not changed, even though the nation has. Our constitution today is the exact same document the founders created. We need not re-create a government, we simply must re-align our nation with our constitutional form of government.

“Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.” – Thomas Jefferson
